Las Vegas Hall of Fame
The Poker Hall of Fame is known for its best of the best when it comes to the poker world. There are a few qualifications that each individual must endure in order to be inducted into The Poker Hall of Fame. Each year there may be one or two people who may receive this honor and currently there are only 16 living members. There are 37 members total that have ever been given the honor to be placed into this elite category.
The ceremony for The Poker Hall of Fame is held at the same time as the final table of the Main Even of the WSOP which is held each year in November. Each of the 37 that have been inducted are a great in their on way. They all stand out from the ordinary poker world and have brought much to the table time and time again.
Criteria to be inducted into The Poker Hall of Fame include:
- Each player must have played against other top competition at one point or another
- Be a high stakes player
- Have a reputation amongst other players for their strong and successful poker play
- Stood out amongst other players including coming out ahead
- For those who are not poker players you must have been active in helping the game of poker grow in one way or another becoming more successful and popularized
